Megan Howlett - Owner
After a chance meeting with the then owner and founder of Access Lighting, the beautiful Lis Mannix; we set out on a journey together. The mission was to increase sales in Sydney and nationwide. Sadly Lis lost her fight with cancer (we all miss her terribly).
Then after 5yrs as a rep at Access I had the amazing opportunity to buy the business and continue to do the job I loved and was passionate about – looking after our customers. It’s been an exciting time and there’s many exciting days ahead for us at Access. It’s funny,
I’ve worked in sales & marketing roles for many years and I’ve never seen myself as a “sales rep” just someone that loved helping others – in Lighting Wholesale – I get to match customers up with what suited their needs & help them solve their lighting problems.
I look forward to the years to come and I’m always available for my customers and team, as without you all we simply wouldn’t be here! Thanks everyone for your support of our locally-owned small business.
Robert Hatton – Electrical Contractor & Operations
As a Sparkie come desk-jockey I get the privilege of helping our customers “on the tools” or at my desk and computer… Same same I guess! I have 28+yrs experience as an electrical contractor which includes running my own team and business across Sydney for 20 yrs. With a vast knowledge of all things electrical and lighting I have worked in many facets of the industry.
I actually started my career as a night call mechanic for Otis (Lifts) and loved it and did this for 16+yrs. I have also worked for 5+yrs in fire equipment and emergency lighting installation. Currently I still maintain buildings, people’s homes and often times I deliver entire projects and project manage for electrical installations for builders and end users.
In my career, I have carried out many residential, commercial and industrial projects – no job is too large or small. I bring my wealth of lighting and electrical experience to Access now to assist our clients with their everyday needs of what globes or fittings they may need or helping them solve any lighting challenges they’re faced with and electrical installations.
